Welcome to the

Learning Center School

Where students experience a dynamic learning environment

The Learning Center School is a private, year-round, community-based special education school approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education.  The school serves students with primary diagnoses of autism, developmental disabilities and emotional and behavioral challenges.

Students receive instruction and support from a highly-qualified, professional staff of certified special education teachers, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, expressive therapists, behavior clinicians, employment training specialists, counselors and a comprehensive medical team.

Students’ individualized needs are met through a standards and evidence-based curriculum that provides a unique opportunity to experience a dynamic and supportive learning and living environment.  The Learning Center School and its seven community–based residences — located in Waltham, Watertown and Belmont — prepare students for success and independence.
